Phase 1: NativeCreativ

From Intern to Brand Manager.

If I had to summarize my time at NativeCreativ into a few words it has to be: ‘The Ultimate Learning Experience’.

From trying to get an idea of being in a digital marketing agency & what social media marketing looked like, to working with interns & clients my job went from designing social media creatives & running advertising campaigns to being the point of contact for multiple clients & managing their accounts.

    • Copywriting

    • Marketing Strategy

    • Team Management

    • Client Communications

    • Project Management

  • June 2018 to April 2021

Phase 2: Freelancing

Sporting the hat of a Digital Marketer & Designer.

The breadth of the skillsets I acquired during my time at NativeCreativ gave me the confidence to walk the path by myself.

From my first gig at BridgeHR to my subsequent work for BAFCO, 22Briks, iDeotic, & many more; and wearing the hats of a digital marketer, social media manager, graphic designer, copywriter, and even a website & UI/UX Designer, I learnt many valuable lessons. For me, the greatest takeaway for me from freelancing is hire and delegate before it’s too late.

    • Content Writer

    • UI/UX Designer

    • Graphic Design

    • Branding

    • Web Design

    • Wordpress

Phase 3: Bitfulness, Still & Chemical Khichdi

Enter, a more mindful version of me.

Working with the authors of Bitfulness (a book on keeping calm in the digital world and dealing with digital overwhelm), the author of Chemical Khichdi, and Aastha Gupta, the founder of Still, helping her with the mission of bringing ancient yoga to the busy people of today’s world was and continues to be another excellent learning experience.

Coming from a time when I was bombarded with freelance work without even the time to hire someone to manage a bit of my work, and then jumping into work with these wonderful clients, who’ve become more family than clients, is precisely what I needed. The ups & downs of creating an MVP at Still, getting people onto the same page combined with the excitement of engaging with readers of Bitfulness & marketing a book on mental health is incredibly satisfying.

    • Team Management

At Still: Head of Growth & Operations, Chief of Getting-Things-Done, People Head.

    At Chemical Khichdi: Marketing Manager

Phase 4: Hiatus & Clarity

The calm before the storm.

I think it’s safe to say, I needed a break. After years of working without taking a single holiday, the time for focusing on my health & mental peace was long overdue.

Thankfully, this coincided with a lot of clients ending their engagements with me, and others being referred to some excellent freelancers I’ve come to know. I’ve been spending more time at cafés, more time writing & reading, and a lot more quality time with my newsletter and trying to explore my interests a little more deeply.

A hiatus is 100% recommended for anyone hustling to the end of their lives. I’m all the more excited for the storm.

  • Desperately trying to relax.

  • December 2022 to January 2023.

  • Multiple. 😉

Phase 5: Back at it.

Found parts of myself.
